You’re close enough to the main attractions that you can walk to most places, but far enough from the tourist chaos to get a real feel for how locals live. I noticed couples seem to particularly love this spot — and I get why, because there are some genuinely romantic little cafes and wine bars within a few blocks that you’d never find in guidebooks.

The Room Experience

My room was larger than I expected, with this interesting mix of modern amenities and subtle nods to Moldovan design. The bed was genuinely comfortable — not just hotel-marketing comfortable — and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that actually works properly. What I appreciated most was the attention to small details, like having enough outlets near the bed and blackout curtains that actually block light.
