GREGORY Boutique Hotel Chisinau
Your Chisinau Retreat
First Impressions
Walking into GREGORY Boutique Hotel Chisinau, you immediately sense this isn’t your typical business hotel. The lobby has this sophisticated, almost gallery-like feel — clean lines, carefully chosen artwork, and that particular kind of quiet luxury that doesn’t need to shout about itself. I mean, when a hotel manages to score a 9.8 rating, you know they’re doing something right. The staff greets you with genuine warmth rather than rehearsed pleasantries, which honestly sets the tone for everything that follows.
Prime Location in the Heart of Chisinau
The location on Alexei Şciusev street is absolutely brilliant — you’re right in the thick of Chisinau‘s cultural district without dealing with the chaos of the main tourist drags. Couples particularly love this spot (they’ve rated it 9.7), and I can see why. You can walk to Stefan cel Mare Park in about five minutes, and the National Museum of Fine Arts is practically next door. What’s really nice is that you get this central location but the street itself stays relatively quiet, especially in the evenings. There’s also parking right at the hotel, which — trust me — is a huge deal in this part of the city.
Luxury Accommodations Done Right
The room I stayed in felt more like a carefully curated apartment than a hotel space. Everything from the marble bathroom to the custom furniture screams attention to detail, but it’s the little things that really impressed me — like the quality of the linens and the fact that the blackout curtains actually work. This five-star property doesn’t rely on flashy gimmicks; instead, they’ve focused on creating spaces that feel both luxurious and livable. The beds are seriously comfortable, and you know what? The Wi-Fi actually works properly throughout the entire building.
Dining and Daily Rhythms
Breakfast here is served buffet-style, and while that might sound standard, the execution is anything but ordinary. They source a lot of their ingredients locally — the honey comes from somewhere outside the city, and the pastries are clearly made in-house. The restaurant area has these large windows that flood the space with natural light, making morning meals feel less rushed and more civilized. I actually found myself lingering over coffee longer than usual, which says something about the atmosphere they’ve created.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets GREGORY apart is how they’ve managed to create this sense of refined luxury without the stuffiness that often comes with high-end hotels. The service feels personal — staff members remember your preferences after just a day or two. The building itself has character (it’s beautifully renovated but retains some original architectural details), and the overall vibe strikes this perfect balance between sophisticated and welcoming. For couples especially, there’s something romantic about the whole experience — maybe it’s the intimate scale or the way the evening lighting works in the common areas. Either way, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to extend your stay in Chisinau just to enjoy it a bit longer.
The concierge service in Chisinau secures private cellar banquets, chauffeured winery loops, and backstage access at the Organ Hall.

Guest Reviews
The Gregory Hotel is immaculate, with highly professional staff eager to accommodate any guest needs. The decor and furnishings - from beds and chairs to the bathrooms - were to an exceptionally high specification. Breakfast was simply outstanding, with a variety of very fresh and well-prepared food options for any taste or diet. This hotel really embodies a sense of luxury, and delivers a sense of value well exceeding its price. I cannot recommend the Gregory enough.
