This four-star property sits in what I’d call the sweet spot of the city. You’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the tourist chaos to actually get some peace. Couples seem to really get this — they consistently rate the location around 8.6, and I can see why. There’s something about being able to walk to the main attractions but then retreat to this quieter corner that just works, especially if you’re trying to experience Chişinău like a local rather than just checking boxes.

The Room Experience

Here’s where Familion really shines — the beds are genuinely comfortable, and I mean that. Too many places promise good sleep and deliver mediocre mattresses, but guests consistently rave about the sleep quality here. The room setup leans toward the apartment-style concept, so you get more space than your average hotel room (well, more than most places in this price range anyway). It’s that extra breathing room that makes a difference when you’re staying more than just a night or two.

  Great facility within easy walking distance if the city center. Grocery store in 5 minute walk in one direction, central market in 10 minute walk the other.
  
  The rooms are interesting, perhaps more of an apartment feel than a hotel room – that was great, and the extra room was handy.
  
  The front desk staff was very accommodating when I arrived 4 hours early and they helped with a number of issues that I had during my stay (unrelated to the room).

  Big clean foom, smart tv do I could chill snd watch Netflix in the evening. Good shower. Lovely bar and restaurant across the street where you get your breakfast. 10 walk to the centre.

  Very spacious apartment, with a room, kitchen, bathroom and hallway. The bathroom is quite large and very modern, very clean. Quiet area, quiet hotel. Close to the Central Market (Piața Centrală) with its bustling atmosphere, with loads of sellers of fresh fruits, vegetables, local dairy products, which are all fresh and very tasty compared to what you can buy in supermarkets in Western Europe. The hotel is about 20 minutes walking from city centre.

  Staff is nice and helpful (no problems with check in and check out, luggage storage), very clean room and hotel, comfortable beds, hot shower every time although sometimes You have to wait a bit, warm room. Nice location especially if You want to travel around the country (Chisinau is the greatest spot for that) – around 700-800 m to the main bus station. In the room You have small fridge, kettle and glasses (don't forget to bring Your own tea or coffee). Good WiFi.
