The building itself has that solid Eastern European feel, nothing flashy, but there’s something reassuring about its straightforward approach to hospitality.

Location That Actually Matters

Here’s the thing about staying on Pushkin Street — you’re basically planted in the most walkable part of the city. I could stroll to the main pedestrian zone in about five minutes, and all those little cafes and shops that make Chişinău interesting are right there. The couples who stay here aren’t wrong when they rave about the location (apparently they give it a 9.7, which honestly makes sense). You’re close enough to everything that matters, but the street itself stays relatively quiet at night. Plus, and this is huge for anyone driving — there’s actually parking here, and it’s free. Try finding that anywhere else in the city center.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was larger than I expected, which seems to be the theme with apartment-style accommodations here. Everything felt clean and functional — not Instagram-worthy, but genuinely comfortable. The bed situation is actually worth mentioning because I slept better than I have in months. I mean, when a place gets specifically praised for having “very comfy beds,” they’re usually onto something. The windows are decent-sized, so you get good natural light during the day, and the whole setup just works for both short stays and longer visits.

What I appreciated most was how uncomplicated everything felt. The staff doesn’t hover, but they’re helpful when you need them. The neighborhood around Pushkin Street has this lived-in quality that feels authentic rather than touristy, which I found refreshing after staying in more polished but sterile places.

  Could hardly be more central with the added bonus that it was possible to park in the compound of the building. The entrance to the building and the lift are the sort of old-fashioned Sovietic type, which can be a bit off-putting, but the apartment is bright, clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful.
  Chisinau was a surprise, but a very pleasant one – it's lively, clean and safe.
  The situation of the apartment, touching the main square, with a myriad of bars, shops and restaurants nearby was unbeatable.

The apartment was well kept, clean and tidy and ideal for a short or longer stay. Great storage for your clothes etc so you can settle in and feel at home.
