I noticed quite a few local cafés and small shops within a few blocks, the kind of places where you’ll actually see residents doing their daily shopping rather than just tourist traps.

The Room Experience

My room was on the fifth floor (hence the name, I’m guessing?), and the setup was pretty straightforward but comfortable. Nothing fancy, but everything worked properly — which, let me tell you, isn’t always a given in this price range. The windows were decent-sized, so you get good natural light during the day, and the bed was actually quite comfortable. I mean, I’ve stayed in supposedly higher-end places where the mattress felt like a rock, so this was a pleasant surprise.

Breakfast & Amenities

The breakfast situation here is solid — they do both continental and buffet options, which gives you some flexibility depending on your mood. I’m usually pretty picky about hotel breakfasts, but theirs had enough variety to keep me happy for a few days. The buffet isn’t huge, but what they have is fresh and well-prepared. You know what I really appreciated? They actually had some local items mixed in with the standard European fare, which showed they put some thought into it rather than just ordering everything from the same supplier.

Look, 77/5 isn’t going to win any design awards, but it gets the fundamentals right in a way that matters for actual travelers. The location score speaks for itself — when couples are rating it 9.3, that tells you something about the neighborhood’s appeal. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere real rather than in a tourist bubble. The staff seemed genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions, and for a three-star property, the overall experience felt more polished than I expected.   I arrived super late, like 5am on the next day. After few exchanges of calls and messaging, i was able to get in to the property where everything was well prepared for my arrival. Additionally, I was allowed to check out much later than schedule. The owner – Mark – was amazingly friendly and supportive. I will definitely stay there again when in Chisinau.

  The property is cozy, clean and fresh-rebuilt. The furniture is new, stylish and light. The place has a nice common area with books, sofa and projector. The common kitchen is always clean, has coffee machine and tea. The location is in the center of there city.

  Super great. Lucky to booked this place. They allowed me to check out late which is super appreciated. The owner is soooo responsive and I love about that. The room is huge and sooo clean. Surely to book this place again when I come back.

  The staff was very helpful and kind — we booked one room and the shower was not working properly. They couldn't fix it on that day so they offered us another room for free (we were three people).
  There is a large common area with books and couches.
  They have a new and well equipped shared kitchen.

  These rooms were great for us as we were a large group of 10 and we had plenty of space and a nice communal area. Tudor checked us in and he was great with his advice and very friendly.
